The spectacular
550 room beachfront Grand Lucayan Resort is located on 372 acres,
on the largest white sand beach in the Bahamas. There are nine restaurants
and lounges, plus the Reef championship 18 hole golf course. The
resort is a 12 minute taxi ride from the Freeport (FPO) Grand Bahama
Airport.
The 25,000 sf Senses Spa offers massage and skin care treatments.
The Fitness Center has weight machines, cardiovascular equipment
and fitness classes. Guests enjoy day or night tennis, gaming at
the Treasure Cay Casino, or relaxing in the two swimming pools.
Other
activities available for an additional charge are: swimming with
dolphins, deep sea fishing, golf, scuba diving, kayaking, banana
boats, duty free shopping at the resort or Port Lucaya across the
street.
All guest rooms and suites at the Grand Lucayan have a
desk, wireless in-room computer access, chair with ottoman, cordless
two-line telephone, bottled water and coffee maker, and amenities
including pillow top mattresses and fine linens. Bathrooms have
a shower tub combo and hair dryer. Rooms have one king or two double
beds.
Island View Rooms (400 sq. ft) view the resort grounds.
Pool View Rooms (400 sf) overlook the waters of the marina.
Lower floor rooms have a private patio. Upper floor rooms have a
balcony.
Oceanview
Rooms (400 sf) face the ocean with a private patio or balcony.

Bahamas tax and $22 per person per day resort and service charges
are additional. These US$ rates are nightly per room for one
or two persons.
Rates at the Grand Lucayan Resort include: use of the fitness
center; unlimited local telephone calls; beach towels and chairs;
pool floats; use of the driving range; complimentary Camp Lucaya
children's club; and in room wireless internet access.
An inclusive food and beverage plan is available for an additional
cost of US$ 125 per person, per day, which includes three meals
daily, unlimited beverages (house brand), and all taxes and
service charges.
Children 17 years or younger stay free in parents' room. Extra
guests 18 or older pay US$ 30 nightly plus tax and resort service
charges. Extra guest on the all inclusive plan pay US$ 150 per person nightly. |
